For Now

In dulled rooms,
with smudged windows,
and stained sheets,
we live.

From a distance,
it’s peace,
kinda revolutionary.

We remember,
the surrender to love,
the lustfulness,
the willingness.

I wish I was younger,
more passionant,
but that’s
not going to happen.

So, from a distance,
it’s peace,
for now.
